Digestive Enzyme Study (IFF)

A Study Evaluating Whether The Study Product May Help Support Fatty Acid Absorption in Healthy Adults Ages 18-65 with Gastrointestinal Symptoms

This study involves a total of 6 in-clinic visits (located in Guelph, ON) over approximately 2 months. Participants who complete the study in its entirety will receive up to $2,350 in compensation for their time, travel, and participation. Total compensation will be pro-rated based on the visits you complete. Participation is voluntary.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the study product may improve or support lipid digestion in generally healthy individuals with low fecal-elastase (FE-1) levels, a biomarker of pancreatic enzyme output.

You may be eligible if you:

Are between 18 to 65 years old

Have a BMI between 18.0 to 29.9 kg/m²

Regularly experience and are bothered by mild gastrointestinal symptoms

Are comfortable with multiple blood draws, urine samples, and fecal samples

Are available for 6 in-clinic visits (located in Guelph, ON) over approximately 2 months

Only a limited amount of spots available.

Digestive Enzyme Study

Participation will include:

6 in-clinic visits (located in Guelph, ON) over approximately 2 months
Oral administration of study product capsules 3 times per day for up to 21 days
Study diary and questionnaire completion
Fasting for at least 12 hours prior to 5 in-clinic visits
Blood draws at all 6 in-clinic visits
Urine samples at all 6 in-clinic visits
Fecal samples on 4 at-home occasions
