Point of Care Urine Testing Study

A Phase III, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study to Confirm the Authenticity of Point-of-Care Urine Samples Using Oral Fluorescein Sodium in Adults Ages 18-65 with Substance Use Disorder (the ATTESTED Study)

The study will involve a total of 2 visits to our clinic (located in Guelph, Ontario) and 1 phone call visit over a 1 month period. If you complete the study in its entirety, compensation will be $200 for your time and travel to the clinic.

The purpose of this study is to determine the sensitivity and specificity of the assay methodology in correctly attributing urine samples to the active and control group.

Only a limited amount of spots available.

You may be eligible if you are:

Between 18 to 65 years old

Have a substance use disorder (past or present)

Able to attend 2 visits and 1 phone call visit

Willing to follow all restrictions throughout the study

Willing to follow contraceptive requirements

Multiple urine samples
1 blood draw
